Preparation/Application

JustinTime Painting has been perfecting a preparation process over the years to ensure the highest quality outcome will be done to every project serviced. Each member of our team has been taught and follows even the smallest level of detail in preparing the interior of your home before paint is even applied.
- Masking: This part in our interior painting process is extremely important and something we never skip out on! All floors such as tile, hardwood, laminate, or vinyl is always covered with rosin paper. That means if you've opted-in to have your ceilings serviced we cover every square inch of your floor with a thick protective paper ensuring zero paint gets on your floors and if we're just painting walls, the perimeter around the areas being serviced are 100% covered. Carpeting is covered with plastic and drop cloths as well.

- Covering: Depending on which service you're getting done and the areas being worked in, we will cover all countertops, light fixtures, furniture, door knobs, clothing, and belongings with plastic, paper, or drop cloths to make sure your belongings are safe from any paint drips or splatters.

- Caulking/patching: If you have cracks on your baseboards, nail holes, or splits on your walls we'll be sure to address any of those issues before a drop of paint is put on your walls.

- Painting: After our preparation process is complete it's time to add colors to your home! If you're on-schedule for a full service interior house painting project here's what it includes; All ceilings, walls, baseboards, doors, door frames, and crown moldings will be painted in your preferred color. and finish.

What paint do you use for the interior of my home?
JustinTime Painting uses an array of products from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. The most popular product chosen is "SuperPaint" in a Satin finish by Sherwin Williams.

What sheen/finish should I use for the interior of my home?
This part is mainly client preference on their specific goal. If you're looking for a nice shine, washability, and durability "Satin" finish is recommended. If you're looking to hide imperfections on your walls a "Flat" finish would be the way to go.

What is rosin paper and why is it necessary to cover my floors?
Rosin paper is a thick protective paper we use here at JustinTime Painting to cover all flooring except for carpet. It's a preparation process we've used for years to protect your flooring of any drips/splatters while we are painting in your home.

Does JustinTime Painting Offer a warranty for your interior house painting service?
JustinTime Painting offers a 2 year warranty on all interior house painting projects. This warranty includes a surface preparation, application, and finished product guarantee of any cracking, peeling, and total preparation failure. If any of those resulting factors happen because of the previous guarantees JustinTime Painting has made we will fix and finish the surface once more.
